Point & Current Co. is an outdoor gear review publication covering hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, skiing, and firearms. Every review here is written by someone who hunts, fishes, and skis — and who does the homework so you don’t have to.
I’m Tyler Wagoner — Marine Corps veteran and avid outdoorsman. I’ve hunted caribou above the Arctic Circle, chased mountain goats in Alaska, fly fished Colorado, and spent more whitetail seasons in the timber than I can count. I ski hard, I shoot straight, and I don’t write about gear I haven’t used.
Point & Current Co. exists because most outdoor gear content is written by people who’ve never left the parking lot. You deserve honest reviews from someone with real field time. That’s what this site is.
Every product here is evaluated against the specs, components, warranty terms, and owner reports that actually predict how gear performs. Where we’ve used something personally, we say so. Scores use decimals because 8.7 and 9.0 are not the same rifle scope. When something isn’t worth buying, we say so.
